For the true matcha experience, prepare your matcha the traditional way: with the right amount, creamy whipped foam, and, of course, premium-quality matcha. That's why The Matcha Man has carefully curated this matcha set.
The combo deal includes the following:
- Bamboo matcha whisk to froth the matcha
- Whisk holder to keep the matcha whisk in shape
- Bamboo spoon for the correct dosage
- 25 grams of premium quality matcha (Ceremonial High Grade, from Uji)
Bamboo matcha whisk
This original Japanese whisk is essential for creating the perfect foam on your matcha. It's handmade from a single piece of bamboo, split into fine hairs. The more hairs the whisk has, the finer the foam. Basic matcha whisks have 80 hairs; The Matcha Man's matcha whisk has a whopping 100 for a silky-smooth result.
Whisk holder
This Japanese-made ceramic holder in matte black ensures a longer lifespan for your matcha whisk. Let the whisk dry on this holder after use to maintain its original shape.
Bamboo spoon
The Japanese matcha bamboo spoon, also known as a chashaku, is the traditional spoon used to prepare matcha. The chashaku is used with a matcha whisk and a matcha bowl.
Ceremonial High Grade Matcha
This premium quality matcha is suitable for ceremonial preparation. The Matcha Man's Ceremonial High Grade Matcha is made from the first and second harvests of the season and has a bright grass-green color and a sweet, mild umami flavor with a fine head.
- Packed in Japan directly after production
- Unopened shelf life 1–2 years
- JAS certified in Japan
Origin : The matcha comes from Uji, where the tea plantation has been producing matcha authentically for over 300 years. Ceremonial matcha is drunk neat for the best taste experience.
Matcha fits into a healthy lifestyle!
The better the quality of matcha, the higher the content of antioxidants, amino acids, and other nutrients. With matcha, you drink the entire leaf, precisely where the nutrients are concentrated. This is in contrast to regular green tea, where the leaves are removed.
Matcha contains a quarter less caffeine than coffee, but its slow-release properties provide sustained energy for up to 6 hours. This also makes matcha a great combination for intermittent fasting.

Matcha from The Matcha Man consists of 100% pure matcha, without additives.
Preparation of matcha
- Half-fill a matcha bowl with hot water and place your bamboo whisk inside. This will soften it and create a better foam later. The bowl heats up evenly, preventing the matcha from cooling down too quickly. After 1 minute, empty the bowl and dry it thoroughly.
- Using a bamboo spoon, add the correct amount of matcha to the bowl and whisk together with a little water to form a smooth paste.
- Fill the bowl with 60–90 ml of water at a maximum temperature of 80°C.
- Then, make W-shaped motions with the bamboo whisk, using your wrist and avoiding the sides or bottom. Stop when a fine, creamy foam layer forms. The fewer bubbles, the better.
