For the ultimate matcha experience, prepare your matcha the Japanese way: with the right amount, creamy whipped foam, and, of course, the highest quality matcha. To achieve this, The Matcha Man has put together this matcha set.
Matcha is healthy and has been consumed since ancient times. It originates from Southeast Asia. All tea comes from the same tea bush (Camellia Sinensis). The way it is processed determines the final type of tea.
The combo deal includes the following:
- Bamboo matcha whisk to froth the matcha
- Bamboo spoon for dosing
- Can (30 grams) of ceremonial quality matcha (Ceremonial Top Grade, from Uji)
Bamboo matcha whisk
This original Japanese whisk is essential for creating the perfect foam on your matcha. It's handcrafted from a single piece of bamboo and split into fine bristles. The more bristles the whisk has, the finer the foam. Basic matcha whisks have 80 bristles; The Matcha Man version has a whopping 100, for a silky-smooth result.
To ensure that the whisk stays in good shape and lasts longer, it is best to place it on a whisk holder !
Bamboo spoon
The Japanese matcha bamboo spoon, also known as a chashaku, is the traditional way to measure out matcha precisely. This spoon is used in conjunction with a whisk and a matcha bowl.
Ceremonial Top Grade Matcha
This ceremonial-grade matcha is exceptional. Made from the first harvest in spring, it has a bright green color and a soft, slightly sweet umami flavor with a fine head. A pure matcha to enjoy for the ultimate experience.
- Packed in Japan directly after production process
- Unopened shelf life 1-2 years
- JAS certified in Japan
Origin : The matcha comes from Uji, where the tea plantation has been producing matcha authentically for over 300 years. Ceremonial matcha is drunk neat for the best taste experience.
Matcha fits into a healthy lifestyle!
The better the quality, the higher the content of antioxidants, amino acids, and other nutrients. With matcha, you drink the entire leaf, meaning you get far more nutrients than with regular green tea.
Matcha contains a quarter less caffeine than coffee, but its slow-release properties provide sustained energy for up to 6 hours. This also makes matcha a great combination for intermittent fasting.

Matcha from The Matcha Man consists of 100% matcha without any external additives.
Preparation of matcha
- Fill the bowl halfway with hot water and insert the bamboo whisk to soften it. The bowl will heat up immediately, keeping your matcha warm longer. After 1 minute, empty the bowl and dry it thoroughly.
- Using a bamboo spoon, add the correct amount of matcha to the bowl and whisk together with a little water to make a smooth paste.
- Fill the bowl with 60–90 ml of water at a maximum temperature of 80°C.
- Then, make W-shaped motions with the whisk, starting from your wrist, avoiding the sides or bottom. Stop when a fine, creamy foam layer forms. The fewer bubbles, the better.
